3. When did you join the ACK youth? First, it was in 2016 during my attachment then came back late 2017.

4. Tell me something that the ACK Youth don’t know about you. I don't know, I think they know me better than I know myself🤣🤣

5. Why the dreadlocks bearing in mind the societal perception? I sincerely cannot remember the reason. All that mattered was that my parents were okay with it.

6. How did you start or tell me the story from medic to a farmer? I finished school in June 2017; then I decided to volunteer at Nyeri PGH as I needed the skills. So I joined Nyeri PGH around August until early March this year. I had finished my seven months of volunteering.

7. I know you are car crazy, how did this happen? Childhood hobby, I’ve loved cars for as long as can I remember.

8. What is one of the craziest things you have done? Not sure, define crazy.

9. Little bird tells me you have been a tout, tell me more. Line gani? What was your nickname? I didn't have a line, my work was to fill up Kenya Mpya buses and Mataara Sacco matatus along Thika- Witeithie- Juja- Kimbo- Ruiru ndani route. My nickname was ras.

10. Any specific moment you wish to share when you were a tout? . Not specifically, it was a smooth hustle, to say the least.

11. Why Brathee? I was brought up with guys (brother and cousins) so I picked their behaviours. Had esteem issues in high school until when in campus I learned to accept myself as I am, and picked the name Brathee.

12. What is the favourite colour? Blue/ Royal purple.

13. Do you enjoy cooking? Currently no, but I hate take outs.

14. What is your chef’s special? Well cooked fish.

15. You have a passion for the ministry of giving and charity, tell me about the groups and the journey? I used to accompany my mother as a kid when visiting children's homes, so I grew up with the habit. In campus, I used to join random groups, then joined Subaru Charity club, and we visited Kasarani home for the physically challenged. Looking at the things that the kids were going through and the joy in their faces motivated me to join more groups and participate a lot more in charity than I was doing before.

16. Special message to someone who feels inefficient? You know when babies are born they are born holding fists, and when we are all born we all come down with a gift or a talent, or a purpose and God sends us down holding those things in our hands. So open your fist and do what God sent you to do.

Jovial Jovial...

17. What is your favourite Bible verse? 1st Chronicles 4:10; "Nake Jabezu agikaira Ngai wa Isiraeli. Akiuga atiri, hi, na ari korwo wandathima, o kundathima, na u'neneherie muhaka wa bururi wakwa, na guoko gwaku guikare hamwe nanii, na ungitire uuru, nigetha ndikagwatwo ni kieha. Nake Ngai agitikira kumuhe o uria aahoete."
Eng: "Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request."

18. What drives you after all frustration probably with exams, farming and your hustles? We are not tested beyond our abilities and believing that God is in control is enough strength.

19. What do you miss of the ACK youth you first met and what can the youth of this year learn? I don’t remember much.

20. We are almost to our youth Sunday, what project do you think we should do as the youth? The chicken project is a good idea.

21. What do you feel needs to change in our youth church? I think we are good as we are right now.

22. What do you love doing any day anytime? Listen to music, read a novel or blog.

23. Tell me more about yourself; Especially reading novels and the long creative posts on Facebook. What’s your favourite novel? I love novels because in reading, you are exposed to a new world, the author's world and much as we love our current situations in life, escaping a little allows for a break and reduces the pressure. Favorite novels, The Hit, by David Baldacci, From A Buick 8 by Stephen King, House of Spies by Daniel Silva and The Harry Potter series by JK Rowling.
I love reading, writing (which is mostly ranting on Facebook🤣) traveling, cycling, watching cars, watching movies, lots of other things. Writing on Facebook tuseme ni kudescribe siku tu or an event and voila!, we have a post.

24. Parting words to the youth? Open your fist and let God use you.
