The first part focused on the purity of the mind while the second part focuses on sexual purity. If you've not read the first part then follow the above link and read before continuing with this part.
2. Sexual Purity
-> Passion: may be defined as that inner feeling of affection and love towards another person and especially so for a person of the opposite sex.
-> Purity is the state of being blameless before God and before men. It is the forgiven state of sinlessness both in our dealings with God and men.
-> Holiness is a process, when we begin to conform to the will of God in one area, He reveals to us our need in another area.
Misconceptions regarding sexuality
• I have gone too far to come back now.
• It's just too hard to follow God's commands. No one is perfect.
• Everyone is doing it so what's the difference.
• We are getting married anyway.
• What goes on between two consenting adults is their business.
• Testing of the engine so that you can know how it works before you buy.
All of these are misconceptions; do not let them drag and drown you into sexual sin.
Conduct in the relationship
• No sex or any erotic physical contact before marriage (1 Corinthians 6:9-20)
• Set and keep strict boundaries.
• Watch your language (for the men) because ladies are mostly aroused by words.
• Have people you are accountable to.
• Meet in public places and avoid secret or closed-door meeting.
• Prayer and Bible reading are critical to any relationship.
• Avoid peer pressure.
• Be in control, don’t be a BACK SEAT DRIVER (Sex outside marriage is SIN, not a WEAKNESS).
• Look out for warning signs…don't ignore.
• Avoid physical contacts with her/him. Proverbs 6:27.
Conclusion
1 Cor 6:18-20: Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
